This is achieved through the control mechanism that comes from integration. Sürsan controls the quality of its sea bass and sea bream from the earliest stages at the production level of its raw materials that go into the feed.
The entire product cycle is controlled until the product reaches the end consumer guaranteeing full traceability. Each fry is recorded during their lifespan till after they are harvested allowing recall at anytime possible. Monitored information includes the farm from which the product has originated, the feed that has been used and the hatcheries the fry has come from.
All of Sürsan production procedures ensure a high standard of food safety through an integrated HACCP system. All microbiological and chemical tests are carried out at the in-house food safety laboratory.
